Young people from Gelişim University volunteered in the Run of the Century

The 45th Istanbul Marathon, the only marathon in the world that runs between two continents, was held this year under the motto "Run of the Century". Our students and faculty members from Istanbul Gelişim University School of Physical Education and Sports took part as volunteers.
The 45th Istanbul Marathon, one of the unique organizations uniting different regions of the world, was held with great enthusiasm under the theme 'Run of the Century'. This huge event was supported by the voluntary participation of students and faculty members of Istanbul Gelişim University School of Physical Education and Sports.
The university, in cooperation with TESYEV (Turkish Disabled Sports Aid and Education Foundation), took part in the public run and raised awareness of support for the disabled. It wasn't just a sporting event; it also emphasized support and social awareness for disabled people. The active participation of disabled people in the marathon was one of the most emotional moments for the organization.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event. This support made the Istanbul Marathon more than just a sporting competition and helped it to stand out with its emphasis on social solidarity and awareness. The marathon was a reflection of the efforts of not only the runners but also the society to raise solidarity and awareness.
