IGU physical education and sports school Sports Volunteers

Istanbul will host the 2023 European Indoor Championships in Athletics. The organization, which has been held in 27 different European cities before Istanbul, will be held in Turkey for the first time in its history of more than half a century. The opening ceremony started at the Ataköy Arena with the participation of 47 countries. Our students from the School of Physical Education and Sports supported the organization as sports volunteers. At the opening ceremony, people wore black T-shirts due to the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş in Turkey, and a message of unity and solidarity was given by writing "Turkey is one heart" in letters on the T-shirts.
