AQAS Accreditation
IGU, by performing considerable investments on its physical capacity, human resources and opportunities it is providing to its students on the way leading to be an “Esteemed World University”, started a very ambitious development process. Applying to German, British and American accreditation institutions, included willingly its 87 departments in total composed of health sciences, sport sciences, social sciences and engineering sciences for accreditation audits and obtained their accreditation eventually. Following quality assurance audits, as per Spring 2018, a total of 54 programs of Istanbul Gelisim University have been examined meticulously by international experts assigned by institutions such as AQAS, AHPGS and PEARSON and have been entitled to be acstill continuing.
AQAS: Founded in Germany in 2002, AQAS is a member of European Quality Assurance and performed the audit of over 5000 programs worldwide. It performed the accreditation of education programs for over 90 German universities. The accreditation delivered by AQAS proves that accredited program is in conformity with the standards and principles of Europe.
AHPGS: Located in Germany, Accreditation Agency in Health and Social Sciences (AHPGS) is accrediting institutions providing education in health, social sciences, etc. AHPGS which is a member of European Quality Assurance Agency, completed more than 1200 programs in over 120 countries.
PEARSON: It is an institution which delivers international accreditation especially for English education programs for foreign students.
ABET: Located in the USA, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) surveys the engineering faculties of the universities.
